According to Quanthockey.com, there are currently 201 National Hockey League players that were born in Massachusetts, and Middlesex county leads the way with 69 players born, while Boston is the city that produced the most players with 37.

Every Massachusetts player is categorized by the era they began their NHL careers in. It is also worth noting that there are 28 players still active in the Modern Era.
